I think it is fitting that I launch this blog on 8/8/08 (8 August 2008). It is the opening ceremony for the Beijing Olympic Games and "8" is supposed to be a significant number for the Chinese .... it indicates "infinite prosperity" or something similar.

It can never hurt to try to let some of that rub off.

So it gives me great pleasure to start this blog with a few words on its purpose.

Over time I will add here links to sites I find useful or interesting.
