A man’s merit lies in his knowledge and deeds, not in his colour, faith, race or descent. For remember, my friend, the son of a shepherd who possesses knowledge is of greater worth to a nation than the heir to the throne, if he be ignorant. Knowledge is your true patent of nobility, no matter who your father or what your race may be.

PMOz and SEPG 2008 – More Comment

I was pointed to this site by Graham Durant-Law as Torsten had commented on my review of PMOz and SEPG. Torsten also has a comprehensive overview of the conference here. I agree with a lot of what he has to say and have commented on both his entries on his blog.

I do welcome his comments as I am sure the conference conveners and organisers really appreciate the feedback. I am certain honest and comprehensive feedback like this is very valuable to them because the end of conference feedback forms are fairly limited and as you tend complete them before the conference is over you don't get much time to reflect. So comments like Torsten's are well thought through and provide a much more considered response.

I look forward to more of your blogs Torsten ...well done.
